Classroom Equipment Services

The Auraria Media Center supports the Smart classrooms on the Auraria Campus. While Smart classrooms may vary in design, they all serve the same function as an audio/visual aid for staff, faculty and students.

Smart Classrooms

The standard equipment installed in a Smart classroom includes a Document Camera, a CD and audio Cassette player, a VHS tape player and a DVD player.

There is a troubleshooting guide posted in all Smart classrooms. It identifies three areas that most likely require troubleshooting - the touch panel, the projector, and the document camera. Using these procedures may help to resolve problems as they arise.

If these procedures do not solve the problem, please call 303-556-3342 for additional assistance. Depending on availability, a Media Specialist may come to your room during your class time, or may visit later to investigate and resolve the problem.

If you would like to reserve equipment not provided in the Smart classrooms, or you would like to schedule a training session, please call the Auraria Media Center at 303-556-2426.
